Stars aren’t born. They’re made. The stage was set. Small-town girl leaves Anytown, America for the bright lights and big titties of Hollywood, California. Her first film turns out to be harder than she thought… hardcore, that is. But she rides that cock to fame and fortune, only to face the one decision she never thought she’d have to make. Love or money. Career or caring, clapboards or picket fences. Join Vivid’s bad girl Savanna Samson in a cautionary tale, Bare Stage. In which all of life’s a stage… and either can be lost in a snap.
It’s not that this massive (though simply set) production will bring the house down sexually – it’s just that the damned thing is so intriguing to watch, that viewers won’t have their fingers on the fast-forward button even when people aren’t having sex. — Critical Rating: AAAA (AVN)
Director David Stanley presents a stage play, set in 1941, with hometown sweetie Savanna Samson seeing boyfriend Evan Stone off to war in the best way (cowgirl, mish, spoon while angels play cardboard harps and watch from above). He (apparently) dies, and she goes to seek fame and fortune in Hollywood, in the process meeting up with hooker Lezley Zen, who agrees to be her agent. It’s a Best Supporting Actress-worthy performance for Zen, and she’s the best thing this show has to offer.
